Do I have to be home for the cleaning?
It’s completely up to you. Now more than ever we are accustomed to cleaning when customers are home. We also have many customers who leave lockboxes or alternative access instructions if they are gone.
Can I have the same cleaner each time?
It’s always easier for our customers and us to send the same people. We can’t guarantee it 100% of the time due to sick days and unexpected emergencies. However, we like creating consistent connections whenever possible.
Why are some people able to charge $75 or less, but Sunnyspot is more?
Well… some people are dishonest. Sometimes intentionally. Sometimes not. Sunnyspot is a cleaning company with actual employees. Cleaners are trained and the company itself is bonded, licensed and insured. Some companies consider themselves “referral agencies or platforms” behind the scenes and classifies their cleaners as “contractors.” This saves them a great deal of money and actually avoids many taxes. However, customers are not 100% protected and actually by default become “employers” for those cleaners and are liable in the event of an injury, theft or damage.
Can you clean with other vendors in the home?
At this time Sunnyspot can only clean if it is the only vendor in the home. This is due to liability and also wanting to make sure the top level of cleanliness standards are kept.
